Not sure how this ended up in my algorithm, but damn does it go off the rails at the end. Comparing concrete apartment buildings to cathedrals as an example of post-modern vapidness? Give me a break. Is the game "woke"? Sure, a bit, but I suspect its commercial failure has more to do with being about 10 years late to the party in terms of the creative direction, gameplay, and monetization scheme it's aping. Plenty of others have done everything this game is doing sooner, better, and cheaper. What's more, I'm not sure they spent any money on marketing. I was barely aware of the existence of this title before launch, and it's only making headlines now that it's a failure.

What has happen with the likes to dislikes tells me two things. This video is someone stating clear flaws in a game, and some parts of it he PERSONALLY dislikes. Just because a game is not woke doesn't mean it's flawless/perfect. You can still criticize & state your opinion on these things. Generally, people who see a game that inst woke automatically have a positive emotional response without looking at it rationally, and with a critical lens. This has simply shown that the bar has dropped so much that if something is not woke it's automatically incredible. Yes! Congrats the developers aren't mentally ill. People can still criticize things & have an opinion. Most of this is his opinion, and stating a few flaws he found.
